Jucie Me Up Scotty!

Hola! I know it's been quite a while. I had a major move and with that came some major weight gain so here I am with some new juicing recipes to help shed some pounds!

This is what I'm currently having for breakfast.

The Any Time Cocktail

2 Granny Smith apples
2 celery stalks
1 cucumber
5 kale leaves (I used 3)
1/2 lemon
2 peeled oranges
1 handful parsley

As you can see this makes a LOT of juice. I refrigerated what I couldn't fit in my glass for later.



Sweet Potato Orange Juice

I decided to add sweet potatoes into my juicing because a friend told me they were deicous when juiced and boyyyyy do I agree! This was so yummy I almost felt like I was cheating! 

1 sweet potato peeled
2 oranges peeled
1 lime
1 large carrot



NEW JUICER! Hamilton Beach Big Mouth

My mom bought me this for my birthday last month and I LOVE it! I was previously using a Black & Decker which was fine for a beginner but soon made juicing a task because the mouth was so small. It used to take me 15 minutes to make a juice and now I can finish in under 5, after the prep of course!

My current weight at the beginning of this journey, which was 4/23 was 173.2. My goal is 150! Wish me luck!
